Hapticanar Series #1: Spring/Summer 2021

Each of the dozen videos of the Hapticanar Series #1 presents the basic content of one module of the KINETIK Method Instructor Certificate Course (KMICC). These hapticanars (haptic webinar!) have the general format of: 10-minute introduction, 20 minutes of training and 20-30 minutes of Q&A. In the Q&A those attending the hapticanar live provide their feedback and questions. As you will see, this is a conversation among friends, pretty informal—but VERY informative. Promise!

The first of the weekly, “regular” hapticanars. The MT3s (Movement, tone and touch technique) introduced are (a) The KINETIK Method Embodied Oral Reading, and (b) the Syllable Butterfly technique for teaching basic English Rhythm.

The twelfth final one!, where stories about Mt3 application are told and ways to engage with KINETIK (Certifications, Training and Consulting) are given.

Hapticanar Series #2

Hapticanar Series #2 is composed basically of a dozen interviews with practicing hapticians, including those who were instrumental in developing the system beginning almost 20 years ago. The topics of this series do, in general relate the the modules of Series #1. (In the KMICC course now teachers in training view one of these interviews in each module.)
